Conditions of Participation

The following conditions of participation detail eligibility requirements as well as the procedures for taking part in contests.

The contest in terms of these conditions of participation is a competition between participants, normally via the submission of a self-produced work of fan art, a fan video, or a fan fiction.

Participation is free of charge and no purchase of goods and services is required.

There is no entitlement to the prize, and the decision of the judges is final. The winner will be chosen at the discretion of the contest organiser. A cash payment, payment in tangible assets, or an exchange and/or transfer of the prize is not possible.

Every participant grants the contest organiser temporally unrestricted and non-exclusive rights of use to their submission. The purpose of these rights of use is to enable the publication of contest submissions on the Internet sites of the contest organiser, including the organiser’s Facebook pages, as part of the contest and for the announcement and presentation of the submission.By granting these rights of use, you waive any claim on remuneration. These rights can be revoked at any time without charge by notifying the contest organiser.

Only those who are already of legal age at the time of participation are eligible to enter the contest. Minors who wish to participate will require the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Gameforge Group employees, volunteers, and relatives thereof are unable to participate or claim prizes.

The participant affirms that the submitted worksdo not violate the rights of any third parties or contain any unlawful content. Works with racist, excessively violent, pornographic, and/or slanderous content are strictly forbidden.

With the submission of an entry, the participant agrees to accept these conditions of participation. Should individual clauses of these conditions of participation be or become invalid, and/or contradict existing legal provisions, the validity of the remaining conditions of participation will remain unaffected. The participant and the contest organiser shall agree to replace the invalid clause with one that has a legal effect corresponding closest to the purpose of the invalid clause. The preceding provision is applicable in the case of any gaps in the provisions.

By accepting these conditions of participation, the participant also accepts the General Terms and Conditions, the Terms of Use and the Data Privacy Policy of the contest organiser.
